The owner, who spoke perfect English, gave us a personal tour of the castle with its fascinating history dating back to the Knights Templars. The room was stunning, spotlessly clean, and the bed was very comfortable. The view from our window was breathtaking. The owner also gave us excellent advice for exploring the surrounding areas. The castle gardens were lovely to stroll through, and the breakfast was delicious. I highly recommend this extraordinary place.

Spending Xmas at a historical getaway is something special. the period decor and charming gardens gave us a sense of stepping back in time. the personal guided tour was fascinating and the owners' hospitality was top-notch. the croissants were so flakey and delicious. Bonus, the hotel is located in a quaint village, off the beaten path, making it a peaceful escape.

Our rooms in the outer building weren't the most spacious and lacked original charm. I wish there was more of a festive atmosphere during the holidays.
